The Logo
The look, the colours, the feel. What makes a brand become recognisable? Is it if you toe-the-line? Is it if you stand out? How much standing out is good, and how much is not?
We were called upon to develop the Amrut probiotic drink brand by the owners. Having so many thoughts about so much branding that we see around us all the time, this was the time for our team to put our money where our mouth is!
This is just a glimpse into the creative process behind building a brand identity from scratch.
The Type
From understanding the product and market positioning to picking the right font — in this case, ‘Hacky’ by Suandana Ipandemade — every choice has intention behind it.
We didn’t want it to be loud or overly stylized, just something that sat quietly and did its job with intent.
Satoshi gave us that sense of structure and clarity we were looking for, while Hacky added warmth and a touch of softness that kept it from feeling too rigid.
Together they strike this sort of balance, clean, calm & grounded, exactly what we imagined Amrut to be.
