Go behind the stories of Shakti Rising, the education initiative from Shakti Mat that supports the daughters of artisans in India by helping them attend school and build brighter futures. In this short-form interview film series, we meet mothers and their daughters from Kishor Exports in Ranchi and hear directly from them about how access to schooling can change their lives. Through personal conversations and heartfelt moments, the films capture the real impact of education and community support, bringing these voices to audiences on the brand’s website and Instagram to help raise funds and awareness for the programme.
What did we do here?
To bring the heart of Shakti Rising to life, we created a short interview series that spotlights real families and their hopes for the future. We coordinated closely with the Shakti Mat team to plan and execute the shoot within a limited timeframe. Working with young children brought its own set of challenges; from managing sound in busy environments to adapting to unpredictable weather on location. To keep the conversations natural and honest, our team spent time building comfort and trust with the mothers and their daughters. We turned the set into a relaxed space, using games, conversations, and a child-first approach to help the kids feel at ease on camera. From planning and production to post-production, we handled the project end-to-end, capturing authentic moments that support the programme’s fundraising and awareness goals.
